AT BELMONT UNIVERSITY
Welcome to the Eta Phi chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at Belmont University. We hope this website gives you a little insight into our incredible chapter and the amazing women that make it possible. Whoever you may be, we hope you leave this page with both a greater understanding of what we have to offer and a smile. Always a smile.
Since 1870, Kappa Alpha Theta has empowered women to become better leaders, daughters, friends, and students. The Eta Phi chapter is no exception.
Each member of this organization brings something unique, beautiful, and powerful to the table. Even today, years after being initiated, the talents and individuality that this group has to offer astound me. My favorite part, however, is watching how each woman chooses to not only offer her own gifts, but support every other woman in hers. I know it sounds cheesy saying that Eta Phi is full of “leading women” (as our mantra states), but there are few other words that fully encompass the fierce nature of this chapter. Whether it’s over a cup of coffee, a bowl of queso (the most likely scenario), or a game of Kan Jam, these women constantly lift each other up, promote vulnerability and acceptance, push each other toward dreams that can feel unreachable, and discuss their many roles in other leadership positions on campus (believe me, there are too many to count).
As the seventh Chief Executive Officer of this chapter, I am so humbled to be writing this letter. I often am in disbelief that I have the honor of serving in this position, and getting to stand beside so many incredible women day after day is a privilege beyond words. While I always wanted to join a sorority, I never could have imagined the impact that each and every woman would have on my life. My definition of community has been redefined by this group of ladies that will forever have my back. I hope this website allows you a glimpse into this sisterhood and community that has changed me for the better.
